School Visits to Gemma’s Farm

Gemma’s Farm can offer bespoke, sole site use, school visits.

Gemma’s Farm is situated in White Notley (CM8 1RG) and now, after nearly 20 years as a mobile farm coming in and working with over 200 primary schools and nurseries a year, we have opened our doors to on-site visits to further enhance your education experience.

An on-site visit can offer your children a real hands on experience of farming life and an up close and personal experience with the animals in their own environment. Not only will your children be able to feed, hold and interact with the animals we can tailor your visit to follow your topic in school and link learning directly to the National Curriculum.

We can offer:

  • Sole use during your visit, fulfilling all your safeguarding requirements
  • DBS checked staff members
  • Secure site tailored and built around the Gemma’s Farm experience with SEN and
    vulnerable children
  • Ample free parking for coaches and cars
  • Numerous hand washing facilities
  • On site toilets and kitchen
  • A covered area for lunch and a meeting point during periods of wet or adverse weather
  • Access to the ‘Notley Nature Nook’ an outdoor play and learning venue
  • Full risk assessments and Public Liability Insurance for £10million fulfilling all
    Essex County Council requirements
  • Full references available upon request
