About Gemma’s Farm

Gemma’s Farm is a family run business located in White Notley Essex.

The head of our farm is Farmer Gemma, she is our star of the show and founder of our company. Gemma originally worked for the RSPCA where her passion for animals and their care began. Qualifying at Bellmead in Windsor and working at Battersea Gemma has multiple qualifications in animal care, behaviour and psychology and has a true connection with all the animals on the farm.

Farmer Gemma is supported by her loving family, her partner Keith is the practical one amongst us all and has built almost all of the site, a tradesman by day Keith loves the animals and with a degree in environmental science and animal management he is enjoying expanding ‘The Walk on the Wild side’ element of Gemma’s Farm. But if truth be told his favourite animal of them all is the chicken and Farmer Keith hatches and rears all the chicks and ducklings on the farm aiming always to produce the best and most amazing breeds and colours for you all to see.

Their son Mason is the gentle giant at the farm, machinery mad. Mason is the main tractor driver and machine operator on site. Mason has had a passion for animals his whole life growing up on the farm from day one. Always accompanied by his faithful dog Mason is always keen to share a story from his childhood and the adventures he has had with the animals you will get to meet along the way.

Behind the scenes everybody plays their part, Nana prepares our accommodation for your stay and is always on hand with a cuppa, Grandad helps keep the sites gardens well-tended and helps grow produce to help feed the team whether two legs or four. Uncle Luke is our resident chef cooking the meat produced here on the farm for you during your staycation. Whilst our Niece Harper and Nephew Noah are our up-and-coming farmers, collecting eggs, testing the new play equipment and helping handle and care for all the animals.

As you can see the farm is a real family effort and we look forward to adopting you into the family whether at your location or ours we look forward to making you a member of the Gemma’s Farm Team.
